Can anyone provide contact phone number that get past a bot to appeal a vlsim at Ebsy? I was ripped off by a merchant and can not actually soesknto a live customer service person?

I'm sorry that happened.
1) First, call the UPS to see if the tracking number label contained your name and your address. (They won't tell you whose name is on the package, only that your name and address is not.)
b) If your name and address weren't on that label, ask the UPSr if they will put this in writing; it's helpful, but not required. Also, ask for the weight of the package using that tracking number. Follow the rest of the steps starting with 2 below:

then click " Proof of Delivery"
The proof of delivery may have more details about the delivery site, and the weight. Screenshot that.
Then contact the UPS Fraud reportfraud@ups.com ask for a letter that states the tracking number "The tracking number you were provided by the seller is not related to you nor the package you were expecting."
2) Then, report the seller using this process

Important, select "Suspicious seller activity"
then "Other"
Explain that the seller is using fake tracking numbers
Include these phrases
Seller uploaded tracking not associated with my transaction
Tracking details were not accurate
Seller used a false tracking number
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
3) Finally, contact Customer Service and inform them that the seller uploaded a "false tracking number" on your purchase. Share any documentation you gathered. Request a refund.
Use the Customer Service that is on Instagram this way:

Send a private direct message to the page. Explain you have a fake or false tracking number situation.
Let me know how this goes, I've been burned a few times myself (including on Amazon), but I have been able to get a refund following this process.
There are additional steps to take if the above isn't effective, just come back and update me.

Mentor3 days agoTell us how you were ripped off? Most things can be handled without talking to customer service as many problems have an automated way to be fixed.

OP3 days agoMerchant claims he shipped the product- provided a tracking number to Ebay but the product was not shipped to me. Merchant will not respond / Ebay rejected appeal? UPS will only say it was not shipped.

OP3 days agoTo my address or by on my name. Ebay could confirm by speaking with UPS but since item was not shipped to my address or name they only say it was not shipped to me do zi have no idea where it was shipped.
I now know UPS tracking numbers with my zip can be purchased on dark web- not surprising Ebay as pulled down the merchant listing but no help for me.

OP3 days agoWorthless claim- i am out over $500. Listing has since been removed but Ebay accepts a bogus tracking number as prove of delivery? Wrong address, addressee but correct zip code so thst is good enough prove for the bot reviewing clsims.
