Hi, can you please tell me, when selling an item and the buyer wants to contact the seller, are they contacting through the email address the account is established under? Is this address seen by the buyer or is it encrypted? Is it better to just establish a "just eBay email address?' Thank you!

Mentor1 year agoBuyers should only be contacting you through the official eBay message system. This keeps the message on an eBay monitored method that eBay will accept as proof of what is being said. Anyone who tries to get your email address for contact may be trying to scam you.
