Constant "Pay now" notifications create a poor user experience with combined shipping orders
I use the combined shipping a lot, as the items I like to buy typically cost less than the price to ship. When I make a previous agreement with a seller for combined shipping, I continue to get inundated with notifications day after day to pay now for each item. This floods my messages section with a bunch of useless "Pay now" messages, and floods my phone and tablet with notifications, causing me to miss other notifications that are useful, such as items in my saved searches.

Mentor3 years agoeBays doesn't know about your arrangement with the seller to allow you more time to pay. Those payment reminder messages are computer-generated, triggered by how much time has passed since the commitment to buy was made. You can pick and choose among some of the notifications you want/don't want in your profile, but payment reminders is not one of them.
Just note that after 4 full days, a seller can cancel the transaction for non-payment. Some sellers have that set up to auto-cancel transactions for non-payment.
