Congrats! You're getting funds faster... but I'm not
Summary: comicsbodega is experiencing issues with their eBay seller account, receiving mixed messages about payment release times. Despite qualifying for faster payouts and having a strong seller record, they notice funds are still held until after delivery. They have set a daily payout schedule but continue to see a 'funds on hold' message. inceptions suggests checking the payout schedule, offering a possible explanation involving the timing of funds being sent to the bank. However, comicsbodega clarifies that their current setup is for daily payouts, and the issue persists with recent transactions.
I am looking for some clarification regarding my seller account on eBay. About a week ago, I noticed a banner on my account stating, “Congrats! You're getting funds faster - Funds from your sales will now typically appear in your available funds within 48 hours after the buyer pays.” I have seen that banner every day on my Payments page claiming the same thing. However, I continue to see all of my auctions stating payment is being held until after delivery to the buyer. I’ve spent two hours trying to find an answer but to no avail. I guess I don’t understand what is going on with these conflicting issues.
I’ve met the qualifications (completed over 10 sales with a combined total of $150 or more within the past five weeks and have no open requests, cases, or transaction defects). I have received 20+ feedback as a seller, most of which are beyond-satisfied customers, I have a linked checking account, my seller level is Above Standard, I have a transaction defect rate of 0%, I use eBay as my choice for shipping labels, I haven’t had an account suspension or restriction, I’ve been using eBay’s Promoted Listings Ads, and I’m trying to be a model seller and expand my new storefront on eBay.
I will admit there are a couple of instances which has prevented me from perfection as a seller. I have had to make three refunds. The first was a Silver Age comic book from 1962 that I didn’t inspect well enough and was not the grade I set for it. I apologized sincerely, refunded his total payment, and I let him keep the $60.00 comic book. The other two occasions were to send a partial refund to cover combined shipping. I’ve had buyers win more than one auction and I didn’t know how to do that. I have since learned how it can be set-up through eBay so that should be worked out.
I’m also concerned with USPS Priority Mail shipping, as of late. Their service claims 2-3 day shipping (in rare cases four days if in a remote area). However, I just had one customer receive his winning auction shipment yesterday after five days and I have one customer receiving his winning auction shipment today after six days. My biggest concern is that it could negatively affect my account by it not delivering on time, or when it’s expected, even though it’s the postal service causing this to occur. But that’s a side issue.
I suppose my overall questions are: When can I expect the “Congrats! You're getting funds faster - Funds from your sales will now typically appear in your available funds within 48 hours after the buyer pays” take effect? Is it something I am doing wrong? Is there anything else I need to do to fulfill any additional requirements to receive my funds faster as stated? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

“Congrats! You're getting funds faster - Funds from your sales will now typically appear in your available funds within 48 hours after the buyer pays”
Appearing in your available funds means that eBay will send the funds to your bank on your next scheduled payout. Check your payout schedule to find out how often you are set up for this. (For example, I don't want payouts every day, I want them once a week, so I receive my payouts in my bank every Tuesday.) You're set up may be for Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Monthly.

OP3 weeks agoI understand that. My payout schedule has been set to Daily and has worked well for a month. However, all of my completed auctions from the last few days still show "Funds on hold—awaiting delivery " on each order. That's what I don't get. It's like it hasn't officially taken effect and this image was from about 7 or 8 days ago.
