Confused buyer
I recently tried to cancel an order that my young nephew placed by mistake and the seller refused it because they have a no return policy but I’m wondering how can it be informed when I quickly canceled the order a few minutes after the order was placed. After they refused to cancel the order I then asked if they had information on when the order would arrive but now they’re not answering me back and it’s been a week and something now. What should I do?

Sorry the Seller will not honor your cancellation request. To me that is NOT good business. Hopefully you did not explain to them the reason the item was purchased.
The date you want to keep an eye on is the original estimated delivery date. One day past that is when you can process a claim.
You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
You will notice that the No return policy does NOT mean no refunds AND that in a number of situations you can force the return with the Seller having to pay for a return shipping label and refunding you within 2 days of getting the item back. No returns is only good for remorse reasons.
You can file a claim via the item in your Purchase History that you did not receive your item one day past the original estimated delivery date and up to 30 days after that. Follow the steps in the claim and they will lead to an eventual refund.
You can report a Seller here: Report an issue with a seller | eBay

Mentor8 months agoBuyers can only REQUEST to cancel. Sellers are not obligated to do so. The sellers no return policy is only for buyer's remorse: didn't like it, changed mind, didn't fit, found it cheaper elsewhere. For any of those reasons the sellers can decline the return. However, if the Item is Not as Described/damaged, then the seller has to accept the return, and pay for the return shipping, or the seller can give a full refund and not require return of the item.
