Conflicting Description Information - Won Auction
I won an item, computer, but noticed right before the end that there were two different specs: two different SSD and RAM specs. I wrote to the Seller before the end of the sale - no answer. I was the highest bidder and received the note to pay. I again wrote the Seller asking for clarification on the specs - no answer. I'll give the Seller some time to answer, but when the sale would be backed out, and would I get bad feedback or something from eBay...I have 100% in all my many years here.
Not sure what to do. Maybe the Seller wants me to back out because they think I got too good a price? Never came across this before.

OP2 years ago...if the Seller doesn't answer at all, I'm not expecting the transaction to go well.

·2 years agoYou pay. If the item you receive is significantly not as described in the listing (e.g. either the RAM or the SSD specification is different) go to your Purchase History for that item, click the link for more options and select that you want to return the item, select the (usually bottom) reason that it is not as described or pictured, then follow instructions from there. If you haven't gotten a prepaid return label or a full refund after 3 days (but before 21 days) from doing so go back and you should find a link to "Ask eBay to step in" to get your refund.

If the seller does not cancel the transaction, you are required to pay for the item.
The time to carefully look at the specs is before you place a bid.
