Completely stuck!
Thinking I was signed in, I purchased an item. The confirmation email told me it was my first purchase. I realise I had completed the purchase as a guest.
Item has arrived and is missing a piece and now I can’t contact the seller without signing in. Of course it’s not in my previous purchases as I was ‘a guest’ .. to contact seller as a guest you have to create an account. It won’t let me because my email is already registered.
Any ideas??

Mentor3 years agoGuest purchases are not connected to your account.
For help with a guest purchase, sign out of your current eBay account and then use the link in the email that eBay sent regarding the order, or see here:

when you use the link in the confirmation email it asks you to create an account to speak to the seller. Then of course when doing this it recognises my email address

Mentor3 years agoYou should be able to contact the seller as a guest without creating a new account.
It may ask or encourage you to create an account, but it should not require one to send a message.
