completely and utterly lost. help, please.
I really don't know if this can be understood by others, or not. I ordered a kit to repair the front end of my truck. It mailed from different locations, and all arrived, except one. The seller agreed to a partial refund, which I would agree to accept. Another problem: When I try to initiate the process, it wants me to establish an account, of which I already have two. It won't let me use the ones I have. I don't know why. Now, if not complicated enough, it says my purchase was made on a guest account. I didn't make, or go into one of those as far as I know. So, all I want is to know how I get my refund, and I am clueless as to how to make that happen. Hope this is clear enough. If not, feel free to contact me. Thank you.

Mentor1 year agoCheck each eBay account you have to see if the transaction appears in your Purchase History.
If you purchased as a guest but cannot find the email, see here to generate a new guest order email:

If nothing else works, try this link to contact eBay:

If you are unable to get a call back, that may be for several reasons; a location outside of North America, VOIP phone, and call blockers (personal or that of a service provider) are often issues.
Try contacting eBay via social media direct message:

OP1 year agoThank you so much for your time, and information. Good news. I think I stumbled upon the correct site and ok'd the refund. Have no idea how I got there, or if it's legit. Even though I found this before I saw the last post, I still appreciate the help. I'm sure the answer for me is in there somewhere.

If you purchased using one of your accounts, you must be signed in to that account in order to initiate a refund. The transaction would be in your Purchase History.
If you purchased as a guest, on the other hand, you purchased while not signed in to any account. In that case, sign out of your current eBay account and then initiate the refund using the "order details" link in the guest order email you received from eBay.

OP1 year agoI see one thing wrong already. The ID (jcr-43524) has never been used by me, but shows for this one purchase. Don't know how that could have happened, and might be part of this debacle. It won't let me contact the seller, therefore I can't work out the refund agreement. Wow.
