Complain about a seller
I had my first time buying at eBay and I gave the seller an honest review and he so rudely messaged me back and said he was blocking me
the seller lacked communication from the beginning or else I would have given a good review
is there a place I can complain about a seller and his undeserved attitude on my honest review. I had only asked why I couldn’t pick up the part because he was only 40 minutes from my home and my car was left at risk unlocked until the carpart was delivered 3 days later. And with my asking the seller about picking up the part he said I gave an unfair review and blocked me for which I am laughing about now.🤣

You may not be laughing for very long. The seller may be able to get your feedback removed because you demanded something from them that wasn't offered in the listing. [Many sellers consider 'local pickups' to be more of an inconvenience than shipping from the post office ... and many others simply don't want strangers coming to their homes.]
Also, since buyers can only receive positive feedback ... sellers check the feedback that buyers have left for previous sellers before deciding whether they want to do business with them. Seeing that you left a seller bad feedback for the reason you did will put you on a lot of ' Blocked Bidders Lists'.
I'm very sorry, but you are in the wrong here. Buyers are not supposed to ask sellers for a favor ... and then trash them in feedback if the seller refuses the favor or doesn't answer.

OP2 years agoHello and I am a first time buyer here and I kindly asked the seller if I idk pick up because he was only 40 minutes away. He messaged me and he said he deliberately didn’t respond to me because he didn’t have local pick up. So what would have been the harm in emailing me back saying there is no local pick ip
my complaint is lack of communication on the sellers prt. What’s wrong with communicating?
I actually bought another car part from another seller asking him questions ahead of time and immediately that seller got in touch with me and all was good. Now I am a bit more aware and good thing is I have a choice to buy or not buy from certain sellers.
thanks for your responding I so appreciate itðŸ‘ðŸ»

You're very welcome ... and I'm glad you are open to hearing about the discrepancies between your expectations and eBay policies. Fortunately for both you and the seller ... eBay apparently removed the feedback you left the seller. 🙂
There obviously is nothing wrong with communication. It's just that eBay doesn't require sellers to reply to emails, as many sellers are just too busy with other things ... like day jobs and taking care of kids and elderly parents ... to be able to answer all of the often numerous questions they receive daily.

The seller did nothing wrong. Not all sellers offer local pick up.
You should have asked if they allow pick up BEFORE you purchased the item.

OP2 years agoHello and thank you for your response. I have learned a lot from my first time buying on eBay. The more I learn about purchasing the more knowledge I will have in the future but for now I was totally naive.
I felt the seller could have communicated he doesn’t accept local pick up instead of ignoring me as his responding message said. I’m old school and the more communication there is the better understanding as to what to expect. I’m the future I know now what to ask before purchasing
thank you for responding again I appreciate you

OP2 years agoHello and I did email him asking if I could pick up and he messaged me back and said he deliberately did not respond to my question. I felt that was rude but I am old fashioned in dealing with people. No worries I am waking up to how things work on eBay. I bought another part from another seller also emailing him before purchasing and immediately that seller returned a message and all was good and I gave him a 5 star for the communication and verification of the product he was selling. So communicating is important to me as a buyer. As I said I’m learning and thank you so much for responding I appreciate this.
