Commuunity Notifications are OUT OF CONTROL - EMERGENCY!!!
I made the terrible mistake of posting ONE QUESTION on eBay Community. I checked the box to receive Notifications for this ONE POST. That was about a week ago. Since then I have received 30,000+ emails and they are arriving at a rate of up tor 5000 a day, up to 300+ an hour. My GMAIL account only allows me to delete 50 at a time which takes about a minute. So there is NO WAY I am empty my Inbox.
Worse yet, I have tried to contact Customer Support to TURN OFF Notifications ASAP as this is a Personal Emergency. But the phone number no longer appears on the eBay site. All I am left with is the Automated Assistance which directs me to the Help articles. I spent over an hour going thru the available Help articles and found no solution. Most of the info is for the cell phone app which I am NOT using.
I can't believe this happening to me. If this problem is not corrected very soon I will have NO CHOICE but to close my account after 25 years on eBay. Can someone please give me the phone number to a human at Customer Support?

Mentor1 year ago@fortunate_cookie Did you ever get this problem taken care of? I know that this reply is late in coming, I just became aware of the post.
When you are here in the community go to your Profile picture on the upper right of the page. Click on it and you will see a drop down menu select Settings> the first option is email. Check the box that says don't send me any email. This should fix the problem.
