Combining postage

Hello.
Under simple delivery a buyer has paid for two items. I received an ebay message saying the postage is combined so package together. However each item still has get pre paid label beside it. I want to avoid an INR.
I have messaged the buyer and suggested I cancel both orders and place both books into one listing. I am still waiting for a reply. The items must be in Tuesdays post at latest.
How do I sort this out? Should I print both labels and treat them as seperate?
Both items were 5 pounds each. Looking through view order details one has a higher final figure at 8-83. The other remains at 5.45 inc buyers protection. Is perhaps the higher figure the primary label combining both?

We don't have "simple delivery" here in the US. We can combine orders by going to the sold listings and putting a checkmark next to both items. Then selecting get shipping label from the top of the list. Next screen we can change the package weight and dimensions as needed. This way the tracking is applied to all items.
