Combining Orders

Question

Buyer received free shipping on one item when buying 2, but they came through separately. Cannot combine orders through bulk labels or hyperlink for combing orders on selling page.

Same buyer ID and they received a discount by ordering 2 items, I think this case was because it was an international shipment and combining international orders is different than domestic? Is there an option to turn that on somewhere? I haven't had much luck finding that thus far. Appreciate all of your replies!

It sounds like your buyer checked out as a guest. If so, each order will have been assigned a user ID by eBay. They will be very similar, but not exactly the same.

You can't assign the same tracking number to orders from different buyer IDs. You will have to ship the orders separately, even if the ship-to name and address match.

-If the Buyer purchased each item as a Guest they cannot be combined through eBay, they are considered stand alone transactions.

-Here is how I Combine separate purchases from the same Buyer.

You can actually Combine multiple Buy it now items prior to printing a label:

-Sold items will be in your Awaiting shipment-print shipping label file

-Use the check box on the left for the items to be Combined

-At the top of the list is a Shipping drop-down menu on the left, select Print shipping labels

-The items will be moved to the Bulk label flow

-Use the check boxes again on the left and then click the Combine button at the top of the page

-The items will be Combined, over on the right you can adjust the weight, box dimensions, Shipping method (if necessary) and then review and print the label in the upper right.

-If you want a receipt it is a secondary function on the Bulk label flow.

-You can Refund the Buyer the shipping overage once you ship the package
