Combining and invoicing special offer items.
I have a buyer who is purchasing 3 items that I sent them special offers on all 3 items. Ebay asks them to pay for each separately, which includes a shipping cost on each one. I want to combine shipping before they pay. How can I do that? Ebay is not allowing them to put all in a cart without paying for each one separately.

Mentor11 months ago@purpledell It is not possible to combine shipping for ANY Best Offer items. The eBay system thinks if you wished to offer a discount for shipping you would have done so by making a lower counter offer.
These are your options....
1. This is the easiest IF the buyer agrees>>> Buyer pays as is separately and you issue a partial refund from the drop down menu next to the sold on item on this page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS Select refund and then follow the steps. I recommend making the partial refund a bit off of each item in case you have a return.
2. Contact the buyer and ask if they will ask to cancel the orders. Then you select Cancel as Buyer requested from the drop down menu next to each item.
Relist ALL of the buttons in ONE listing as an Auction at the agreed on price as the starting price.
Once the buyer places a bid select End listing early and sell to the high bidder. Set the shipping price for the correct amount.
If someone else bids then you can cancel their bid
OR you can use the Buy It Now format with Best Offer..... List the lot with a bit higher price than someone would want to pay and then they make an Offer at the agreed on total plus the shipping that is charged on the listing.

Mentor11 months agoIf you have auto pay turned on, the buyer will have to pay for each item separately. You can then combine them into one package, print one label, and then refund the buyer the excess shipping after you have determined what that amount is. Let us know if you need help in combining into one package.

Mentor11 months agoHi @purpledell
If they are Domestic sales: Depending on the listings, the offers, some of your settings, etc the Buyer will be forced to pay them all separately and then you can refund them after you ship and have the final box size & weight and label cost.
COMBINE SHIPPING:
You can actually Combine multiple Buy it now items prior to printing a label:
-Sold items will be in your Awaiting shipment-print shipping label file
-Use the check box on the left for the items to be Combined
-At the top of the list is a Shipping drop-down menu on the left, select Print shipping labels
-The items will be moved to the Bulk label flow
-Use the check boxes again on the left and then click the Combine button at the top of the page
-The items will be Combined, over on the right you can adjust the weight, box dimensions, Shipping method (if necessary) and then review and print the label in the upper right.
-If you want a receipt it is a secondary function on the Bulk label flow.
-You can Refund the Buyer the shipping overage once you ship the package.

OP11 months agoThank you for responding to my inquiry. I'm doing what you suggested already. I just hoped there would be an easier way to combine discounted orders and eliminate the extra postage up front. All my listings are Buy it Now. If they pay full price there is no problem, but I send a lot of offers out and have to refund a lot of shipping.
