Combined Shipping without having to refund?

Question

Is there anyway to combine shipping for a buyer without having to refund their excess shipping to them? I have searched through the shipping policies and how you can do a certain refund for so many items purchased, and free shipping, but those don't really meet the needs of my business. Any advice?

In your Account settings you can explore the different Combined shipping options by clicking on the little pencil in the upper right-hand corner of each of the three shipping methods listed. There may be a combination of settings that work well for what you are offering for sale. I use the Calculated setting and ADD all costs and refund the overage.

While I do get multiple item sales they are not the bulk of what I sell so refunds are low. I used to refund on single sales too until last year when I started to use a 20% discount off USPS Retail shipping through eBay. Now the single sale items rarely need a partial refund sent because of shipping costs.
