Combined Shipping over 2 week period ?
Summary: The discussion revolves around the topic of combining shipping over a two-week period. myprivatestockfl initiated the conversation, and rfmtm engaged in the discussion. I am a Top Rated Seller on eBay. I often have buyers who purchase items one week and then ask me to hold the items until the following week so they can combine shipping with additional purchases.
My account requires payment within 4 calendar days or eBay automatically cancels the order.
When the buyer pays, I have 24 hours to ship the item to keep my TRS status is good standings.
What is the best way to handle these requests without affecting my Top Rated Seller status? Is the Buyer requirements exemption list an option ?

Mentor4 months agoYou need to change your combined payment and shipping rules in your Shipping Preferences to extend this time and consider turning off auto cancel.

You also should turn off Auto Payment here:

Scroll down to Buyer Rules and uncheck the requirements for buyers to provide a payment method before bidding or making offers.

OP4 months agoI've been hesitant to extend payment times or disable auto cancellation because I often encounter buyers who win auctions but then fail to pay or respond to messages.
While doing so could address the combined shipping issue, it would also mean I'd have to manually cancel orders from nonpaying buyers.
It would be great if eBay offered a feature that allowed sellers to adjust payment terms for certain buyers.
Unfortunately, it seems that such an option isn't available.
Thank you for responding.

Mentor4 months agoThen the option you want is to put that particular buyer on your Buyer Exemption list. That will exempt the specified buyer from all buyer requirements set elsewhere.
