Combined shipping on trading cards
I mainly sell playsets (4 of each card) on here. From the start, i have always used calculated shipping and had combined shipping turned on. The problem i am having, is that when buyers purchase multiple items, it charges them per item. I would then refund the buyer the remainder of the shipping cost. I noticed that buyers message me wondering how they can make it so they dont get charged on each item. I have to then explain, that i will refund the rest of the shipping. Its a whole process that im trying to cut out. This is already time consuming enough. How can i set my shipping options to where it will just charge them for the entire order based on weight or something like that? I mainly use ebay standard envelope. These cards are very cheap and buyers are not willing to pay ground advantage for 3 dollars worth of cards. I usually can put 3 playset into a envelope for about 2oz. Anyone with more experience that can lead me into the right direction?

Mentor1 year ago@riigtcg I recommend a flat rate shipping rule for the cards that are shipping with eBay standard envelope.
Charge X amount for the first card and X amount for each additional.

( My post from a couple of years ago refers to the "New Unified Listing Tool". The same tool in Seller Hub is now called the Advanced Listing tool)
Also I suggest unchecking the requirement for buyers to provide a payment method before bidding in account settings.
Best offer sales can't be combined and you have to do partial refunds on those for shipping so you can leave that checked if you like.

You can use a calculated shipping rule for other items that will combined the weights but NOT the package size so it is best for smaller items. There are dimensional surcharges if your box ends up being larger than one cubic foot
