COMBINED SHIPPING Missing items
Summary: The discussion revolves around an issue with combined shipping and missing items, initiated by kattut. disneyshopper and comics-scifi-collectibles participate in the conversation, with comics-scifi-collectibles further interacting with kattut to provide clarification or assistance. There might have been an attempt to address the missing items, but the details of the resolution are not explicitly provided.
Received a combine shipping package from a coin dealer. I won 40 separate coin auctions and the package arrived. But there was only 39 coins in the package. the dealer did not answer my request to send the coin or a refund. filed a claim with ebay and they turned it down because the package was delivered. wow think if 2 or more of the coins were missing, i would have been out of a lot of money.
what should i have claimed, not as described?, that always seems to get any buyer their money back? Telling the truth should WORK!

Mentor4 months ago@kattut You need to file not as described return requests FOR each listing. So if the seller combined 40 separate listings you file a not as described refund request for the missing items from those listings.
If the coins were all on ONE listing then you just file one return request.
I know that this seems strange but it's the way the system works.
You only have 3 business days from the date of delivery to file refund requests on eBay for currency. If it is past that date you will need to contact your payment method about a chargeback.
The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request for most categories AND 3 days for Trading Cards and currency.
Here's what you need to do:
Open a return with the reason doesn't match description or photos.
Select the return item button on this page:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041&st=
4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label or a full refund then ask eBay to step in and help: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
Let me know if you need to return an item to another country as there are additional steps required. The seller pays return shipping for an item that is not as described no matter where they are located.

Mentor4 months ago@kattut. Glad it worked out and you're getting your refund.

Mentor4 months agoIf you filed an Item Not Received case, you would lose the case since tracking shows you did receive something. The correct case to file is a returns request for Item Not as Described. I believe you can still do that once your INR has been declined.
