Combined shipping
Won two small auctions, just a few dollars each. Shipping on one was $1, the other, $1.25. Both are clearly marked as Ebay standard envelope.
Asked for combined shipping, invoice has $6.43 shipping. Contacted the seller to ask if this was an error, and was told "I've had trouble with the Ebay standard envelope shipping lately, so this will be in a padded envelope and with regular tracking." I responded that I would like the terms of the auction honored, and was told that I could cancel the purchase if I don't like the 50% unilateral price jump.
To me, this reads as, the seller never intended to use Ebay standard. This whole thing is unethical. Is this worth reporting to Ebay, and if so, what's the best route to do so?
