How do I instruct a buyer to put several items in their shopping cart and request an invoice so I can combine shipping? The challenge seems to be eBay automatically charges the buyer for each item once it goes in their cart. I have been issuing refunds to the buyers for the shipping differences, but I really dislike going through the extra steps.

Turn on/enable combined shipping in you Shipping Preferences.

Turn off/disable prepay method in your Buyer Requirements (bottom of the page).
