combined shipping 2024
A customer bought cereal 3 bowls (separate sales) from me and eBay combined shipping. totaling 6.00+ for shipping from New York to Ohio. He sent a note asking if i could reduce shipping for him so i checked and yes- it totaled 4 lbs instead of the 6 combined. So no big deal but the shipping price was the same for either weight. I saw on the label I printed out though eBay it had no weight just a size of 20". so i went to the detailed summery and the customer was charged 33.00+ for shipping. I apologized to him through a note and refunded 27.+ back to him. I don't know if I would have caught it if he didn't write to me. I think the label was charged by Post office for the combination of square inches i would have used. I am an eBayer since 1999- never happened before. Any one else? Is this the new Post Office?

The bowls were listed with priority mail. To me in IL that is $13.05 each. I did not see a reference to combined shipping on the shipping tab.
Do you have combined shipping set up? Check here - https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf - make sure it say specified next to combined payments, and a 1 next to rules set for calculated shipping. If there is no rule set, click edit and choose how you want the shipping combined.
