Combine two items for Shipping to a buyer after buyer has paid.

Question

Hello. I sold two items to a buyer and getting ready to ship them. So far, I purchased one shipping label for maximum 6 oz parcel. Both items weight 14.7 oz and it costs less to combine them. I don't see an option for combining the two items. Should I cancel the shippoing label and purchase a custom size shipping label for one item and combine them together? Is it going to take 21 days to get refund back from the carrier? Thanks.

Yes, if you cancel the label it will take 21 days to get the refund from the carrier, but I do this often.

1) Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:

- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/lmng/labels-history/my-ebay

- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.

- Choose your reason for canceling the label.

- Select Cancel shipping label.

You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.

2) Combining shipments after the first label is cancelled
- combine the orders before selecting a label using the "bulk shipping" tool on the browser.

Put a checkmark to the left of your items on this page

Select "Shipping" above
On the next screen it will ask if you want to 'combine' the orders. Check that box.

Enter the weight and dimensions for the package and print your label.
