closing a hacked account

You don't need to contact eBay customer service to close your account. See this link:

However if the account has been hacked, you should immediately change your password. In this case, you DO need to contact eBay and if there has been any activity on the account. You need to do that before closing it. See this help link:

Once you've taken care of the hacked account issue, you can still keep your account if you want to continue transacting on eBay.
