closing a dispute
My buyer opened a dispute because he didn't think he received his item.
Turns out he did receive it and wants to close the dispute.
He can't find how to do that and neither can I.
How does someone who opened a dispute close it?

In addition to what @comics-scifi-collectibles shared, the other thing you can do is upload the tracking number to the Item not received claim and if tracking shows it has been delivered you are covered and you can close the case in case eBay doesn't do it automatically.

Mentor2 years ago@3amarineservice The buyer can close it using these instructions on a computer>>
How to close your request
If you had already asked eBay to step in, you'll see 'case' rather than 'request'. You can still close it if things
are resolved.
OR they can contact customer service and ask them to close the case for them.
Here's how to contact eBay customer service:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK:
https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
2. Request a call back or live chat
( If you receive the automated chat assistant type AGENT in the small box on the lower right of the linked page then you will see the options to contact a live agent, you may have to answer the chat bots questions before it allows you to connect to an agent, this is so you are connected to the right department)
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media.
