Closed the returned process without receiving a refund
Hi eBay,
I need help getting my money back. The seller sent me a damaged motherboard that doesn’t work, and now wants me to return it. I live in Guyana (South America), and shipping to the U.S. is extremely expensive. This is not my fault, and I can’t afford the return. Please help me get my refund.
I am trying to get an agent but when I use contact us, it only asks to contact via United States or Canada phone and unfortunately I'm not in either of those countries

Mentor1 year agoOpen a Return Request for an ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED, damaged. Seller will pay for the return, if he wants it back, and/or refund. If no response by the fourth day, go back and ask ebay to step in. Do not close or let the case expire without doing this, if not resolved.

OP1 year agoThis is where my issue is. I closed the return request case because I was trying to contact an agent on eBay but did not finding any way to do it so I thought that I need to close the return request in order to be able to contact an agent but I was so wrong.
Now I am unable to get this resolved or my money back because the return request is closed before I asked eBay to step in.
Is there any alternative to get around this?
Its over 500USD and I really need my money back

Mentor1 year agoOnce you close the returns request, ebay can no longer help you. If you paid with Paypal, contact them for a returns request. If you paid with a credit card, contact your credit card issuer.
