Closed return, shipping reimbursement

Question

Had a buyer decide they wanted to return an item. I approved the return, eBay charged my account for a shipping label. The Buyer then decided to keep the item and let the return request time-out. While reviewing the transaction details once this time-out has been completed, I see the shipping label is still applied to the holdings. Basically, I still paid for the label that was never used, or I am looking at this wrong perhaps.

Hi @jbryantd You aren't charged for a return label until/unless it's used.
