I purchased an item on a debit card. I sent the item back because it was wrong. The debit card that I purchased the item is closed what do I do to get a refund?

·1 year agoThis would be something your bank would answer. Most cases, your bank can give you a refund, using the closed card as reference to an account you own. I would contact your bank first to see what will happen

Mentor1 year agoIt will depend on why the card is closed. Did you have a problem and the bank closed the card was closed and a new on opened? If so then the bank will just transfer the refund to the new card.
If you actually closed the card and it was not replaced you will have to ask that bank what they do with refund that cannot go back to the card the payment was made from.
