Close a Return
The seller is insisting I close the return before he will issue me a return. I have followed all the instructions in the Help Section of eBay but the return status (details) only gives the option to Cancel Return (not Close the Return) and I do not want to do that
Would appreciate help

Do NOT cancel/close the return!
The seller is lying to you. If you cancel the Return Request, you will never hear back from the seller and you will not be able to get help from Ebay.
After 3 business days have passed since you filed the Request, on the 4th day, you can go back to your Request details and click on the link to have Ebay step in to help you.

OP2 years agoThank you! I thought that was the problem…I’m just always hopeful people are doing the right thing. I replied to his last rude response and told him I was going to ask for the help from eBay. He SAYS he’s going to send me a return label. We shall see!
