Classifieds overrun with scammers?
Hi, it seems like Ebay is now hosting scammers that used to dwell in Craigslist and FB Marketplace. Am I missing something? The categories I'm interested in are full of too-good-to-be-true deals that involve making payments outside of Ebay. Why is Ebay condoning this?

Mentor10 months agoThe classified ad section is different from the regular eBay listings. The actual transaction takes place outside of eBay and eBay just lets the seller know who is interested in purchasing the item. With a classified ad there is no Money Back Guaranty and no feedback can be left.
This is just like how a newspaper would work. The seller places an ad and everything else takes place outside of the newspaper.
