China purchase of my item, 3 months later Chinese knockoffs flooding eBay and underselling my item!
I invested a lot of time and money getting a Corvette item manufactured that had been discontinued. I did not realize that 2 purchases of the item were from China accounts as the "ship to" address was in the US.
Only much later I discovered the "www.ebay.com/bin/purchaseHistory" link which lists the location of the buyers.
I searched the buyer names on google to find posts where folks said, "Do not sell to them, you will find that a copy of your item being sold on eBay for less than your selling price two months later!"
Well it took about three months in my case.
They even copied my description and part number cross reference information!
How do I report these buyers so eBay can investigate???
Or will eBay even do anything about it???
All the new manufactured items (multiple sellers from this same location - it is obvious they are all the same company) are shipped from Hebron Kentucky, and if you dig down into the "About" information for the sellers they are all "China".
There is no way I will list anything I have manufactured on eBay after this.
If you have a unique or custom item you are trying to sell, don't do it on eBay!
