CHECKOUT ERROR
Buyer wanted to buy 40 pieces of an item and he got an CHECKOUT ERROR message stating "The seller only allows buyers to purchase 10 items every 10 days. Problem is, I have over 850 items and DO NOT have it set up that way. And trying to contact Ebay is almost impossible, the buyer sent me a link showing this error and would love to send it to Ebay. Anybody have any suggestions?

Mentor3 years agoThat message doesn't display if you don't have the setting turned on. You can turn it off in your buyer requirements here:

After you click Edit, uncheck the box highlighted below:

OP3 years agoThat is the problem, none of the boxes are clicked on! We have contacted Ebay when this has happened in the past and they tell us it is because the buyers had credit issues or problems, bad ratings, ect. We just set it up so Blocked Buyers who have bought 100 of my items in the last 10 days are blocked, will see what happens.

Mentor3 years agoAn alternative is to add the buyer your blocked buyer exemption list.

OP3 years agoGot it, I set them up and will see what happens! I think it may has something to do with the listing as well. I have items I sell by the piece and when I list a new item I go to one already listed and just sell a SIMILAR ITEM. But that new item may be a box of 10 vs. each. And it is happening on these items only! Problem is, with 840+ items, I do not know which ones were done one way or the other. Thanks for your help, we will see what happens!
