Cheated by a seller
Why is ebay so terrible at enforcing their rules?
I won an ebay auction at a great bid. I then paid for an item. The seller cancelled my order and refunded my money claiming the item was “lost or damaged”.
two days later the seller relisted the item. I contacted ebay and asked them to require the seller to complete my transaction. Ebay refused and allowed the item to be sold for $280 higher.
the seller in fact stole the equivalent of $280 from me and ebay doesn’t care.
