OP1 year agoThanks for your response! I initially had a question about the summary page of the FinanciaI Statement which listed Shipping Labels as a negative number and then Charges (with no reference to shipping) as a positive number. I understand your response but wonder if eBay uses a particular time frame they use. I typically print labels and ship within 1 day. However, if an item is sold on a Friday, I wouldn't ship until Monday. Or, if an item sold before a holiday, there would also be a delay. When I checked the detailed additional pages on the financial statement, this was true for some but not all. Oh well, enough time on this. Remember when you could contact eBay by phone, lol?

Mentor1 year agoThe timing all depends of when funds clear and when payouts are made. If you want better consistency extend you payout time, but even then you'll run into this.
What I do is have all postage charged to my PayPal account, which can be set to pay with a credit card, bank, PayPal funds, or PayPal credit, and avoids the confusion. I also have my PayPal charge ebay postage to a credit card, which gives me extra days/weeks to pay and earns bonus dollars.

Mentor1 year agoWhen there is not enough cleared funds in your ebay account it is charged to your backup funding source, which can be your bank, credit card, etc.
