Charged twice for shipping
I printed only one label, I did not offer free return shipping or a label to do so, so why was I double charged for shipping?

Printing a label and purchasing a label are two different things. If you purchased two labels, you can void the one you didn't use.
You can void a label within 5 days of purchase here:

It will take about 14-21 days for the refund to come through.
