Charged Additional Shipping for Underweight Package
I’m new to eBay shipping so still learning the ropes. I recently receive a shipping adjustment for an additional $6.00, but I’m confused because I purchased the label at 17lb, but the adjustment came back showing the carrier weighed it at 15.6 lbs. I thought we were supposed to round up weights and lengths (though I did overshoot this one). Any help is appreciate!

Mentor2 years agoAre the measurements different on the adjustment? It may have gone into being an oversized package.

OP2 years agoThanks for your reply! I don't see any dimension adjustments. I'm trying to upload a picture of the details here, but can't figure out how to do it for some reason (I figured I could just upload a redacted screenshot, but that is a whole different issue). On the summary it says, "Weight 17.00 lbs" (which is what I entered), and then below that is a red exclamation point icon and the text "The carrier had reported that the weight of your package was 15.60lbs". The dimension section shows the same dimensions I entered.
