Charged $454.86 Shipping Charges
I have been selling on eBay for over 25 years, and finally made a decision to print my shipping labels through them. I was printing a group of labels and made a mistake on the length of my package by placing the decimal in the wrong place. I printed the labels and attached them to my packages. I didn’t notice the amount I was charged on one of my packages until the packages were sent out. There is no way a small package 11.5 inches X 9.5 inches X 0.5 inches, would cost $454.86. I have contacted eBay many times, and they assured me this money would be returned to me very soon. Then I contacted FedEx, and they will not discuss the topic with me because they want eBay to call them. Now eBay customer service will not help me with this because the label was already used. Both eBay and FedEx are able to prove the size of the small package. I believe I should be reimbursed, as It was a very innocent and obvious mistake. Any suggestions?
