Changing the shipping method after the sale
I didn't select standard envelope when I created the listing which just recently sold. I need to change the shipping now to standard envelope as to not pay $5.49 for an $8 item. I need help with that process.

Mentor3 weeks agoOnce the buyer pays you can upgrade the shipping, but not down grade it. However, you can ask the buyer, if it would be ok to do so. Regardless, I do not think the Standard Envelope is still an available option, if not in the original listing. If so, the only thing you can do is ask buyer, if it would be ok to cancel and relist with the proper option. By now though the buyer may be irritated enough to the point of leaving not so good feedback.

OP3 weeks agoThanks for the response. Let me ask you this. How do I select that option when creating the listing? ebay isn't very helpful in that regard.
