Changing the Shipping Address for an item already picked up for shipping (UPS)
Hello. Hoping someone in the community can help me. The item was paid for and shipped by the Seller through eBay, but was shipped to the wrong address. It was just picked up today and is headed from Missouri to Washington State (via UPS). The correct address is also in Washington State, but the other side of the state. The seller and me (the buyer) are trying to see if it's possible to have this package rerouted to the correct address, as it is something requiring a very timely delivery. Please let me know if there are any options.
Outside of eBay, I have done this before with my UPS business account, but since this was shipped by eBay, both of us are wondering what options we have. This particular Seller, does MANY transactions with eBay, but they are not sure how to accomplish this.

Mentor3 years agoThe seller can try contacting UPS to see if they can reroute the package, but I don't know if UPS will do it for them. Honestly, they should ask for the package to be returned to them. eBay's guidance is to ship only to the address provided through checkout.
