OP8 months agoI logged off. I also tried a different browser. It appears -- for now -- that the new Thank You note to Buyers has been saved. So far, so good.

In the seller hub orders view - https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS - click the 3 dots next to any item and select print packing list and more. In the window that opens, click customize under packing list. In the window that opens on the right you can select a standard message or create a custom message.

Once I select a new outgoing message will it automatically be saved as the default?

Yes, your selection should be saved until you change it.
