changing shipping to picked up.

Question

Hi,I just sold an item a couple days ago, and the person who bought it from me lived in the same city, so instead of shipping it, I dropped it off at his apartment complex. How do I change my order so that the funds will get released?Thanks,Jason

@jasobuc3 I wish you had asked before you dropped off. You should have canceled the sale, refunded, relisted as local pick up so that the buyer receives a pick up code that acts the tracking.

There are several problems with not having tracking proof of delivery, especially on a high priced item as a new seller.

My advice so that you won't have problems with your payout is to mail the buyer a small thank you box with signature on delivery. Explain to the buyer that this is needed because you are a new seller and it's a high priced item. All sales over $750 require a postal service signature on delivery.

To do this go to the sold item and select Get Shipping Label then select change to advanced label on the upper right of the label page. Then scroll down and check the signature on delivery box.

Your funds are going to be held as a new seller for about 31 days since it is a new priced item and that is if you have the required proof of delivery.
