Why can I not switch to large first class envelope on all of my listings? Sometimes the only option is ground advantage for $5.70 when a $1.87 first class will do.

A large envelope can only be 3/4†thick and can not be rigid. The large envelope does not include tracking, and you can not buy labels - you hand write the envelope and use stamps or pay at the po. You will also refund any time your buyers says not received.
You will lose your top rated seller status, since you will not have tracking to upload.
Are you sure you want to change everything to this service? You can’t change any item that has bids or open offers. Otherwise you should be able to change them, if that is what you want to do.

OP2 years agoWhen I start a listing for an inexpensive item (stamps) I am not offered the option of large envelope sometimes were the cost of ground advantage will kill the sale.

OK, you said ‘all’, which is why I included the size info, etc.
Most stamps qualify for the standard envelope - a special first class label that gets you limited tracking.

This page shows the dimensions, but fails to mention to make the height 0 - then you should see the standard envelope as an option.
