Changing shipping
I sold an item with free shipping but the item with the shipping box weighs more than the one pound I paid for shipping. Is there a way to increase the weight to cover the extra weight (3 oz)? I'm not seeing a way to do it and could use some help.

You will need to Cancel the label you purchased and then buy another one with the additional weight. If using USPS the next weight level over 1 lbs is 2 lbs. Meaning 1 lbs 3 oz is rounded up to 2 lbs.
Cancel labels on this page using the drop down menu on the left side of the item. You can also print another label from this page or go back to the sold item. Track and manage your shipments
If the item will fit securely in a smaller box you could re-pack it and use the original label if the weight is under 1 lbs. You might be able to cut off some of the inner flaps to get the weight down or use shipping peanuts instead of newspaper or other paper for stuffing around the item. These are things I will do if I am close to a pound level on the weight.
