Changing legal name on banking and SS #
my legal name changed changed recently, and I need to change it on my bank account and SS with EBay. How do I do this?

OP1 year agoI have tried multiple times to change it on the app & have tried to call every number I could find. With no luck!

Use a desktop PC if you have trouble doing these things:

If you "Require" a chat option to communicate with an Agent, you'll have to answer some questions with the eBay Automated Assistant before the assistant notifies an Agent:

Do Not Post Your Account Information Publicly. Use the private messaging options:
You'll need to provide your user ID, your name, your address, and the registered email address attached to your account. Also, be sure to give them plenty of details.
The eBay Agents usually respond in a day or two and may research the situation better than the "Request a call back" agent or a "chat session" agent.
