change to a business account sales tax

Question

I have a personal account, I do auto repairs. Can I change the account to my corporation and provide the NJ certificate of authority so I wont pay sales tax on items I purchase for resale ?

Yes, but if you also buy personal items, you'll need to open a second account so you can keep your business purchases separate from your personal ones that are not tax-exempt.
