Change Shipping to Local pick up on a SOLD item
Hello,
I sold an item on eBay and when I listed it, I didn't offer local pick up. However, the person who bought the item requested local pick up since they live really close. I agreed, but couldn't change the shipping. I told them that I would refund them the shipping once I deliver the item. However, I think it needs to be done via the eBay website because the site has my funds on hold until I give them the shipping information. I've tried to call eBay and typed "call me", "Agent call back", but I keep hitting a brick wall. I'm unable to reach anyone to have the sold item shipping changed. Can you help? I'm scheduled to deliver the sold item on Friday. BTW, this is all documented in the chat between the myself and the buyer.

Mentor1 year ago@jbonill114. I recommend canceling the sale as problem with buyers address. Refund the buyer. Refunds come from your back up payment method for selling costs, I use a credit card. You will get the buyers payment once their refund clears.
Relist the item with local pickup only. The buyer will receive a 6 digit code and a QR code that you can scan on the app or enter the code on the sold listing.
This is the only way you will have proof of delivery.
If you don't do this all you can do is mark as shipped from the drop down menu next to the item. You will have a ding on your metrics for tracking not uploaded and you will lose any not received refund request. Your funds will also be held longer.
To issue the partial refund for shipping go to the sold item and select send refund from the drop down menu next to the item. Select shipping adjustment for the reason.
I wanted to add that since the item is over $750 that if you do ship that it must have signature on delivery.
