Change of address after purchase
Buyer purchased a $10 t shirt & paid. Immediately made contact because address is wrong, not updated since moving. She requested a cancellation & it was granted. States she changed address with eBay. States eBay, PayPal & credit card all have correct address. Re purchases t shirt. Address didn’t update.
Through eBay contacts I asked for the correct address.
Is it ok to edit her address & purchase label through eBay?

Mentor2 years agoChanging an address for a current order:
Buyers can change the shipping address at checkout right up until payment is sent. After that, the shipping address for that transaction cannot be changed.
The seller is required to ship to the address that comes with the payment or lose all protection in the event of an "item not received" case. Scammers often send messages urging the seller to ship to another address, so sellers are rightly wary of such requests.
The seller can cancel the transaction and relist to allow the buyer to purchase again and provide the correct address, but sellers are not required to do any of that.
Changing an address stored in the eBay account for future orders:
Tell your buyer to go here to update all the various addresses associated with the account:
https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses
It is possible the buyer added a new address but failed to make it the primary address and did not delete the old address, and then also failed to notice the old address at checkout.
