Unfortunately, the address at the time of the purchase is the one eBay expects the Seller to ship to so messaging them a different address will not work.
You can request a cancellation but sadly sellers do not have to honor that request. Smart ones will but if you tell them you need to cancel so you can update your address info maybe they will comply and then you can purchase the item again from them after they Relist it for sale.
