Change of address
I sold an item, and printed the label after they paid. Several hours later, thankfully it is Sunday so I had not taken to post office yet, I received a message from the buyer stating that they had recently moved and needed to update the shipping address. The new address has the same zip code, so the rate should be the same. I did advise them to go in and change their address in eBay, and I tried "Reprinting" the label, but it would not allow me to edit the address, and the new label still showed the old address. I marked through the old address and hand wrote the new address, but since there is a bar code on the labels, I am afraid it will still go to the old address. I am planning to talk to postal worker at the post office when I take it in and see how they can help me. But, there is always a long line at the post office, so if anyone has another solution and can save me the wait in line, I would appreciate it! Thanks!

You are required to ship to the address Ebay provided, for your own protection, not an address provided in a message from a member. The postal service can forward the package to the buyer's new address if the buyer filed a forwarding order with USPS. To ship it elsewhere means you would lose all seller protection if the buyer files a Refund Request due to Item Not Received.
How can a buyer change addresses in between the time they purchased the item and the time they messaged you? They needed to enter the correct shipping address at the time of checkout when they were paying for the item.
My advice would be to cancel the transaction due to "buyer's address". Let the buyer know they can re-purchase the item using the correct shipping address.
Furthermore, are you absolutely sure it was the buyer that sent you the message?
