Change in delivery status of item after it is sold

I sold an item and it was listed to be delivered by mail. The buyer turns out to live near me and wants to pick it up in person. I have tried to figure out how to change this on Ebay but since the sale has already been completed it is very unclear. There is no way to send the buyer a QR code (item was listed to be mailed) and they tell me to have the buyer sign a packing slip in that case. But I don't understand how I get paid through Ebay at that point. What am I supposed to do with the signed packing slip? Their AI assistant can't seem to answer that question.

Mentor4 months agoDon't listen to customer service as what they said will not get your payout made faster. eBay is looking for a tracking number and delivery confirmation. Since you did not ship the item you will need to wait 30 days for your payout. What you needed to do prior to the buyer picking up the item was to cancel the purchase and relist with the local pick up option available. Then have the buyer make the purchase choosing that option so they receive the required code to prove delivery.
