Change a Return Request to a Partial Refund
I have a buyer who requested a return stating and iPhone had a chip. I accidentally hit accept return instead of the partial refund we agreed upon. How do I now issue partial refund since I do t see the option? The only option I see is to send the shipping label.

Mentor3 years agoUnfortunately, once you accept the return, you can not change it to a partial refund.
You both would have to trust the other to make it happen - the buyer would have to close the return, then the next day you should be able to issue a partial refund through you list of sold orders selecting send refund. You would be trusting the buyer to not then open a dispute with their card issuer to get a refund for the balance of the payment.

OP3 years agoI contacted eBay and they said I had to wait until the 25th today and contact them back. At that time they could change it. I’m not sure if the person I spoke with was correct. Anyway, I’m going to try when they are available today. I will report back.
