Challenging a shipping cost adjustment - USPS adjusted my shipping cost astronomically
Has anyone had success in challenging a shipping cost adjustment?
I sold an item - several small packages of trading cards - and mailed them using USPS Ground Advantage through the eBay site. The item weighed slightly over 4 ounces, so I mailed it as if it were 5 ounces, printed the label in my house and mailed the items in a bubble mailer. I did not take a picture. I mailed the items using a USPS drop off where I scanned the label and I got a printed receipt, but no re-weighing went on in front of an employee.
I get a message a few days ago from USPS that I underpaid them by $69.05. They allege my item weighed 28.0 pounds, rather than 5 ounces. They also state it was the wrong size. I was charged $67.55 for the alleged weight discrepancy and $1.50 for the alleged size discrepancy. I do not ship anything but trading or sports cards and haven't sold anything over 2 lbs in years.
The notice from eBay gave a link to USPS to dispute the change. I filled out the form and provided a short description as the info box did not allow for much more. Just curious if I'm completely out of my money here without actual proof I didn't mail 28 pounds worth of stuff.
Thanks for reading!

There is no proof you can provide for what you actually mailed, so don't concern yourself with that. Anyone can take a photo of a package and then put the label on a different package when mailing it, so a photo is useless.
There is no benefit to you to spend time worrying about this. Occupy your mind with things that are within your control and wait for a response. I expect that you will win the dispute.
